A young South African woman from the outskirts of Cape Town learns the metaphors of life on the ocean as she prepares to compete in the Round Robben Island race with The Academy, an initiative of the historic Royal Cape Yacht Club.

My role on this production was Online Editor.

I managed the post-production workflow between the Lead Editor and the Audio and Colour Grading departments, ensuring alignment across all final stages of the pipeline.

I received the final graded and mixed master, conducted quality control checks, and generated all final delivery assets according to specification.

A key challenge on this project involved a misalignment in the colour space expectations for final delivery.

The project was delivered in HDR, whereas initial assumptions were based on SDR.

Upon identifying this discrepancy, I adjusted the workflow accordingly, ensured access to the appropriate monitoring and software capabilities, and reconfigured the delivery pipeline to generate compliant HDR outputs to specification.
